In our endeavours to promote and normalise naturist culture within the wider community through education and advocacy, we are creating campaigns to bring more awareness to the matters that matter to the local naturist community.
Current Campaigns
Bring Back Byron’s Nude Beach
Our current priority as an organisation is to re-establish a clothing-optional (CO) beach in the Byron Shire so that our community may continue to have a safe and legal space to to be able to enjoy a skinny-dip without the risk of being fined.
Up until 31 August 2024, Tyagarah’s CO beach had been Byron’s famed and only legal nude beach since 1998.
In launching our ‘Bring Back Byron’s Nude Beach’ campaign, we will be engaging with Council, policymakers, local businesses and the general public to advance our cause in securing a CO beach for our community.
Through organised events, rallies, peaceful protests and meetings, our advocacy efforts will require the support of our community, and educating the wider public about the naturist lifestyle will prove to be more important than ever if we are to secure their camaraderie.

Save Tyagarah.
Byron’s famed and only nude beach since 1998 was sadly shut down on 31 August 2024…leaving our community with nowhere to go.
